Advantage Engineers acquires Synergy Development Services

First Capital Partners is pleased to announce its portfolio company, Advantage Engineers, LLC ("Advantage") has acquired Synergy Development Services, Inc. and affiliates ("Synergy"). Founded in 2004, Synergy is a trusted leader in wireless communications systems development. Its professionals are experts in outside plant audits and small cell advancement. Synergy is headquartered in Van Nuys, CA and has five other offices in the western U.S. The combination of Advantage and Synergy provides for an expanded geographic presence and will allow the company’s over 300 employees to better serve the country’s leading telecommunication companies from coast-to-coast.

Founded in 2001, Advantage provides comprehensive solutions including site acquisition, engineering, and construction management in the highly specialized telecommunications, geotechnical and environmental fields. Advantage is headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA and has eight other offices that are mostly in the eastern U.S. 

In 2016, First Capital Partners and Patriot Capital provided mezzanine debt and equity to Advantage in a recapitalization transaction to support the management team’s strategic growth plans, including expanding the company’s geographic footprint and capabilities through add-on acquisitions.
